Thorne and Wait Recruitment Specialists have launched their business with the financial support of Recruit Ventures.
Based in Kidlington Oxfordshire, Thorne and Wait will specialise in Driving, Industrial and Commercial recruitment led by directors Steve Thorne and Wesley Wait.
Experts in the field of recruitment, Steve and Wesley have over 30 years industry knowledge between them and an excellent local reputation.
Steve and Wesley are clearly enthusiastic, focused and driven in the world of recruitment which is what we look for within our business partners said David Simons, Managing Director for Recruit Ventures. “From our initial meeting with them at the start of the year, I could detect a strong desire to develop a forward thinking business and clearly an excellent opportunity for us to invest.
Steve and Wesley first approached Recruit Ventures for support in setting up their business after they heard about the opportunity from another business partner.
“After two years of thinking about the idea. Wesley and I decided now was the right time both professionally and personally to launch our own recruitment business.” said Steve Thorne. Company Director of Thorne and Wait. “Having thought about going it alone, we quickly realised that we are face to face people and are not specialised in the back office function of setting up a business. When Recruit Ventures explained that they would take care of everything from IT, HR, Payroll, Marketing etc. and provide ongoing support, we knew then that this was an opportunity not to be missed.”
