Frequently Asked Questions

We answer some of the most frequently asked questions about launching your own recruitment business.

+How do I qualify for support in launching my own recruitment business?
A
Answer:
The typical individual we support is a recruitment professional of at least three years’ experience, who is working or has previously worked in the temporary recruitment sector. You will need to be have been working in the sector that you want to launch your business in for at least two years before launching. You don’t need to have worked in a senior managerial position, and it doesn’t matter which sector of recruitment you have worked in or where in the UK you have worked. All we need to see from you is a proven record of success and the passion, drive and commitment to want to run your own business and make it a success.
+I have never dealt with all the administration and ‘extras’ of running a business. Will I become snowed under?
A
Answer:
Absolutely not! We don’t expect you to have had any experience of the paperwork and back office responsibilities of running your own enterprise. Our model means we will take care of everything. We deal with all the legwork of launching your business, from establishing you legally to setting up the back office to deal with all the administration. Our aim is to allow you to focus on what you do best – recruitment.
+How long does take from first enquiry to business launch?
A
Answer:
It can be as quick as a few months. Once we have decided to invest in you, we do not waste time. Our tried-and-tested model will see your business fully legally and tax compliant, with robust accounting, IT, branding, payroll and other essential admin ready and in place. We take care of this so you can focus on getting ready to start driving your business from day one.
+Is there a limit to how much I can earn, and how big my business can grow?
A
Answer:
You are now a recruitment entrepreneur, and a business owner, and you will reap the rewards of your efforts. There are no limits and our support grows as you grow. You will be a joint owner of an enterprise that will be geared up for growth from day one. As the business grows, so does your earnings and so does the value of your shareholding – a real step change from the limited rewards available as a recruitment employee.
+Can I see some examples of businesses you are already supporting?
A
Answer:
We are not shy about success! In fact, we have our own dedicated marketing and PR team who are spreading the word about what we do as far and wide as we can. A
Answer:

Your Business

+What happens to the profits of the business, and do I have equity in it?
A
Answer:
You are an owner of the business and you have a shareholding, therefore you are entitled to a dividend from any profits made. As the business grows, so does your earning potential, and there are no caps or limits. You are now a recruitment entrepreneur, not an employee, and you will have all the benefits that come with that.
+Will I ultimately be able to sell the business?
A
Answer:
Absolutely. You are a shareholder in the business and one of the key motivating factors is capturing the growth you achieve in the value of your shareholding. This is truly about creating a business legacy and reaping the rewards of your hard work and drive. If you wish to sell at some point in the future then you are perfectly entitled to do that, and we will work with you on all the options open to you.
+Do I have control of the business, and the ability to drive through my vision for it?
A
Answer:
You are the entrepreneur, you supply the hard work, the ambition and the determination to make it succeed, and that absolutely means you shaping your business strategy and planning. We do everything we can to lay the foundations for your success, taking care of the finance, taking care of the back office function, and offering support and guidance when you need it. This is your brand, your vision and ultimately it will be you who makes your business grow and thrive.
