‘Leaders gasp nettles’ is a quote from David Ogilvy. Some call him the ‘father of advertising’. He founded legendary advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather and much of what he thought and wrote holds as good today as it did in the 1950s and 60s.
So let me start with that gem – ‘Leaders grasp nettles’. You know what he’s saying. People who create things, make things happen, start up businesses – they’re the people who ‘grasp the nettle’. The ones who seize the day, and face the challenge.
